If you're travelling from Birmingham Airport, the easiest route is to take the M42 and then the M5, before heading onto the A44 towards Montgomery. Alternatively, you can take the train from Birmingham Airport to Shrewsbury, and then change for a train to Newtown, which is 8 miles away from Montgomery.
