Visiting Cheddar

If you are driving to Cheddar, there are several routes you can take:

• From Bristol, take the A38 southbound, then follow signs to Cheddar.
• From Bath, take the A367 southbound then join the A39 to Cheddar.
• From Yeovil, take the A37 northbound then join the A371 to Cheddar.

If you are traveling from nearby landmarks, you can take the A371 from Wells or the A38 from Bridgwater to reach Cheddar.

The closest airport to Cheddar is Bristol Airport, which is approximately 10 miles away. The easiest and quickest route is to take the A38 to Bristol Road/ A371 in Axbridge. Follow the A371 to Cheddar.
