Visiting Dunster

Driving directions to Dunster:

1. From Taunton, take the A358 towards Minehead.
2. After passing through Williton, turn right onto the A39.
3. Continue for approximately 4 miles, then turn right onto the B3224 towards Dunster.
4. Follow the road into the village.

Rail directions to Dunster:

1. Take a train to Taunton station.
2. From Taunton, take the 28 bus towards Minehead.
3. Get off the bus at Dunster Steep car park.
4. Walk for around 10 minutes into the village.

If driving from Minehead, take the A39 towards Williton and Dunster. From the city of Bristol, take the M5 southbound to Taunton and then follow the driving directions as above. For those travelling from Exeter, take the A396 to Wheddon Cross then turn right on the B3224 and follow the road to Dunster.

The closest airport to Dunster is Bristol Airport, which is approximately 40 miles away. The easiest way to get from the airport to Dunster is by renting a car and taking the M5 south to junction 24, then following signs for Minehead and Dunster. Alternatively, you can take a train from Bristol Temple Meads to Taunton, then transfer to a train to Minehead and finally a bus or taxi to Dunster.
