To get to West Lothian, you can drive or take the train. If you're coming from Edinburgh, take the M8 westbound and exit at junction 3 for Livingston. From Glasgow, take the M8 eastbound and exit at the same junction. If you're taking the train, there are stations in Bathgate, Livingston North and Livingston South. Bathgate is on the Edinburgh-Glasgow line, while Livingston North and South are on the Glasgow Central line.
Alternatively, if you're coming from the south, you can take the M74 towards Glasgow and then follow the instructions above. If you're coming from the north, take the A9 towards Edinburgh and then pick up the M8 westbound.
