Visiting Montrose

For those travelling from Edinburgh, it is recommended to take the A90 northbound towards Dundee, then follow the A92 as explained above. Alternatively, you can take a train to Dundee and then catch a connecting train to Montrose.

Another option is Aberdeen Airport, which is 44 miles away and takes approximately an hour to drive. The best route to take from Dundee Airport to Montrose is to follow the A92 east then the A935, while from Aberdeen Airport the best route is to follow the A90 south then the A937.
