If you are driving to Cupar from Edinburgh, take the A90 and follow the signs for the Forth Road Bridge. Cross the bridge and take the M90 northbound. Exit the M90 at junction 2A for the A92, then follow the signs for Cupar.
If you are coming from Glasgow, take the M8 eastbound towards Edinburgh. At junction 2, exit onto the M9. Follow the M9 until the end and then take the A90 towards the Forth Road Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the same route as above.
If you are travelling by train, Cupar has its own station which is on the mainline between Edinburgh and Dundee. From Edinburgh, trains depart from Waverley Station. From Glasgow, trains depart from Queen Street Station. From Dundee, trains depart from Dundee Station.
If you are coming from St Andrews, there are regular buses available. The number 64 bus runs between St Andrews and Cupar.
If you are travelling from Perth, take the A90 northbound. Exit at junction 8 and take the A91 towards Cupar.
If you want to take a scenic route, you can take the Fife Coastal Route which runs along the coast from Kirkcaldy to St Andrews. This will take you right past Cupar.
The closest airport to Cupar is Edinburgh Airport, which is approximately 30 miles away.
The best route from the airport to Cupar is to take the M90 north towards Perth, then take the A92 towards Dundee, and finally take the A91 towards Cupar.
