To get to Amber Valley, you can use the following driving directions:
- From Derby, take the A6 north and follow signs for Matlock. Once in Ambergate, take the first exit at the roundabout onto Ripley Road. Follow this road for approximately 3 miles until you reach Amber Valley.
- From Nottingham, take the A610 towards Ripley. In Ripley, take the A38 north towards Alfreton. After approximately 4 miles, take the slip road towards the B6013. Follow this road until you reach Amber Valley.
If you prefer to travel by rail, you can take a train to either Derby or Nottingham and then use a connecting bus or taxi to reach Amber Valley. From Derby, you can take the Arriva Midlands 140 bus towards Matlock and get off at the Amber Valley stop. From Nottingham, you can take the Trent Barton Nines bus towards Alfreton and get off at the Amber Valley stop. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the train station to Amber Valley.
