If you only have 2-3 hours to spend in South Hams, here are some suggestions on how to make the most of your time:
- Take a stroll around the picturesque town of Dartmouth, known for its charming harbour and medieval buildings. This should take about an hour.
- Visit the historic castle ruins of Berry Pomeroy Castle, located just a few miles outside of Dartmouth. The castle is surrounded by beautiful woodland and gardens, and the visit should take no more than an hour.
- Explore the quaint village of Salcombe, known for its stunning coastal scenery and boutique shops. You can take a boat trip to see the coastline from the water, and the visit should take about an hour and a half.
