If you have 2-3 hours to spend in East Devon, here are some suggestions:
- Visit the beach at Lyme Regis - this will take about 30 minutes each way if you're driving, or longer if you're taking public transport.
- Explore the town of Sidmouth - this charming town has plenty of shops and cafes to browse, and you can also take a short walk to the beach. Allow about an hour to wander around.
- Take a guided tour of the historic A La Ronde house - this unique property is run by the National Trust and offers insight into life in the 18th century. Tours are by appointment only and last about an hour.
- Visit Pecorama - a family-friendly attraction with miniature railway rides and beautiful gardens. Allow about an hour here.
- Take a walk along the South West Coast Path - East Devon has some stunning coastal walks that offer breathtaking views. Allow at least an hour for a short walk.
