If you have 2-3 hours to spend in Grantham, here are a few suggestions:
- Grantham Museum: This local museum showcases the history of Grantham and is home to a variety of interesting exhibits. You can easily spend an hour or more exploring the galleries.
- St. Wulfram's Church: This stunning church features a soaring spire that dominates the Grantham skyline. You can wander around the beautiful interior and climb the tower for views of the town in around 30-45 minutes.
- Wyndham Park: This green space is a lovely spot to relax and enjoy some fresh air. Take a stroll around the gardens or along the river, or simply find a bench and enjoy the scenery. Plan on spending around 30-60 minutes here.
- Grantham Canal: If you enjoy walking or cycling, the canal towpath is a lovely route to explore that runs through the heart of Grantham. You can take a short walk or cycle ride in around 30-45 minutes, but if you want to go further afield, it's also possible to follow the canal all the way to Nottingham!
