If you have 2-3 hours to spend in Dulwich, there are a few things you can do:
- Visit the Dulwich Picture Gallery: This art gallery features works from old masters like Rembrandt and Van Dyck, as well as more contemporary pieces. It's a great way to spend an hour or so.
- Explore Dulwich Park: This 72-acre park has plenty of walking trails, a boating lake, and a cafe. You could easily spend an hour wandering around.
- Visit the Horniman Museum and Gardens: While technically located in neighboring Forest Hill, the Horniman Museum is definitely worth a visit. It has exhibits on natural history, anthropology, and music, as well as beautiful gardens. Plan on spending at least 90 minutes here.
No matter what you choose to do, be sure to leave plenty of time to grab a coffee or a bite to eat in one of Dulwich's many lovely cafes.
