If you have two days to spend in Rugby, there are a few things you can do to make the most of your time:
Day 1:
- Start your day by visiting the Rugby School Museum. Here, you can learn about the history of one of the most famous schools in England. It will take around 1 hour to 1.5 hour to visit the museum.
- After the museum, head to the Webb Ellis Rugby Football Museum, which is located in the town centre. You'll learn about the origin of rugby and the sport's history in Rugby. It takes around 30 minutes to visit the museum, but you can spend more time if you're a rugby fan.
- Next, visit the St. Marie's Church, which is a beautiful church built in the Gothic Revival style. You can spend around 30 minutes to 1 hour here.
- Head to Caldecott Park, which is a great place to relax and enjoy some greenery. You can enjoy a picnic, take a stroll, or simply sit and read a book. You can spend 1 to 2 hours here.
Day 2:
- Start your day by visiting the Rugby Art Gallery and Museum, which showcases contemporary art and local history. It will take around 1 to 2 hours to visit the gallery and museum.
- After the Art Gallery, head to the Brownsover Hall Hotel, which is a country house hotel located just outside Rugby. It will take around 20 minutes to get here. This is a perfect place to enjoy some afternoon tea or lunch, and wander through the grounds and gardens.
- Next, visit the Draycote Water which is a reservoir located near Rugby. It is a popular place for walking and cycling, and has a children's playground, fishing, and a water sports centre. You can spend around 2 to 3 hours here.
