If you have 2 days to spend in Bamburgh, here are some suggestions on what to do:
- Bamburgh Castle: A visit to this iconic castle is a must. Take a tour of the castle and learn about its fascinating history. Allow 2-3 hours for this.
- Bamburgh Beach: Spend some time on the beautiful Bamburgh Beach, one of the most stunning beaches in the UK. Take a walk, relax in the sun, or take a dip in the sea. You can spend as long as you want here.
- Grace Darling Museum: Learn about Grace Darling, a local heroine who saved passengers from a shipwreck in 1838. The museum also has exhibits on the history of the area. Allow 1-2 hours for this.
- Farne Islands: Take a boat tour to the Farne Islands, a group of islands famous for their wildlife, including puffins and seals. Allow a half day for this.
