If you have 7 days to spend in Rugby, there are plenty of things to see and do! Here are some suggestions:
- Rugby School: This famous public school is where the game of rugby was invented! You can take a guided tour of the campus and learn about its history. Allow 2 hours for the tour.
- Rugby Art Gallery and Museum: This museum showcases local art and history. Allow 1-2 hours for your visit.
- Draycote Water: This reservoir is a great place for hiking, cycling, and bird-watching. You could easily spend half a day here.
- Coventry Transport Museum: Although it's not in Rugby, this museum is only a short drive away and well worth a visit if you're interested in cars and other modes of transportation. Allow at least 2 hours for your visit.
- Caldecott Park: This park is a lovely spot for a picnic or a stroll. You can also catch live music and other events here in the summer. Allow 1-2 hours for your visit.
- Webb Ellis Rugby Football Museum: More rugby history! This small museum is dedicated to the life of William Webb Ellis, who is credited with inventing the sport of rugby. Allow 1-2 hours for your visit.
- Rugby Theatre: If you're in the mood for some culture, check out a show at the Rugby Theatre. They feature a variety of productions throughout the year. Show times vary.
