If you have 7 days to spend in Norfolk, there are many things you can do. Here are some suggestions and an idea of how long it will take to visit each thing:
- Visit Norwich Cathedral: This stunning cathedral is a must-see. It will take around 1-2 hours to explore thoroughly.
- Explore the Norfolk Broads: Take a boat ride or hire a boat and spend a day exploring the beautiful Broads. It will take a whole day to fully enjoy it.
- Visit Sandringham Estate: This is the country retreat of the Royal Family. Take a tour of the house and gardens, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. It will take around 2-3 hours to visit.
- Discover the North Norfolk Coast: Visit charming coastal towns like Wells-next-the-Sea and Blakeney. Spend a day or two exploring the coast.
- Visit the Norfolk Coast AONB: This area of outstanding natural beauty is perfect for hiking and cycling. Spend a day exploring the countryside.
- Explore Norwich Castle: This historic castle is now a museum, with exhibits on local history, art, and archaeology. It will take around 1-2 hours to visit.
For accommodation, you can stay in one of the many hotels or B&Bs in Norwich, or opt for a countryside retreat. The nearby town of Cromer and the village of Burnham Market are also popular places to stay.
