If you have 7 days to spend in Lancashire, there are plenty of things to do and see:
- Visit Lancaster Castle – take a tour of the castle and learn about the history of the area. This should take around 2 hours.
- Explore the Forest of Bowland – an area of outstanding natural beauty. You can go hiking, cycling or simply take a scenic drive. Plan to spend a day here.
- Visit the seaside town of Blackpool – famous for its amusement park and illuminations. Allow a full day for this.
- Take a trip to the Lancashire coast – visit traditional seaside towns such as Morecambe and St Annes and enjoy some fish and chips. A half-day trip should be enough.
- Explore the Ribble Valley – go for a walk in the countryside or visit one of the many charming villages in the area. Plan on spending a day here.
- Go shopping in Manchester – just a short train ride away, Manchester boasts some of the best shopping in the UK. Plan to spend a day here.
