To get to Wrexham from Barry, you should follow the A48 and join the M4 at junction 33. Follow the M4 northbound until you reach junction 26 for the A487. Follow the A487 for approximately 12 miles and then merge onto the A483 towards Wrexham.
If travelling by rail from Barry, take the train to Cardiff Central and change there for a direct train to Wrexham General station. The journey takes around 3 hours.
If travelling from other local landmarks, such as Cardiff or Newport, the fastest route by car is to take the M4 and follow the directions above. There are also direct train services from both cities to Wrexham.
