If you are driving to Worcester from Birmingham, take the M5 south and exit at Junction 6. Follow the A449 towards Worcester for about 10 miles. If you are coming from London, take the M40 towards Birmingham, then the M42 towards Redditch. From there, take the A441 towards Worcester.
If you prefer to take the train, there are direct trains from London Paddington, Birmingham, Bristol, and Cardiff. Worcester Foregate Street Station is located in the city center and has good connections with surrounding towns.
If you are visiting other local landmarks, such as the Malvern Hills or the Cotswolds, driving is the easiest option. From the Malverns, take the A449 towards Worcester. From the Cotswolds, take the A44 towards Evesham and then the A46 towards Worcester.
The closest airport to Worcester is Birmingham Airport, which is around 30 miles north-east of the city. From the airport, you can take the M42 and then the M5 to reach Worcester. Alternatively, there are regular trains from Birmingham Airport to Worcester Shrub Hill Station.
