To get to Whitby, there are a few options:
By Car:
If you are coming from York, take the A64 to Malton and then the A169 to Whitby.
If you are coming from Newcastle, take the A1 south, then the A19 towards Middlesbrough. From there, take the A174 towards Whitby.
If you are coming from Scarborough, take the A171 straight to Whitby.
By Train:
Whitby has its own train station, which is located on the Esk Valley line. There are regular services from Middlesbrough and a few services each day from Newcastle.
If you are coming from York, you will need to take a train to Middlesbrough and then change there for a train to Whitby.
From Nearby Landmarks:
If you are in Robin Hood's Bay, you can take the 93 bus to Whitby. The journey takes around 20 minutes.
If you are in Scarborough, you can take the 93 or X93 bus to Whitby. The journey takes around an hour.
