Visiting Torfaen

To reach Torfaen there are several options:

Driving Directions:

If you are coming from Bristol, take the M4 heading east towards Cardiff and then take exit 26 onto the A4051 towards Cwmbran. Follow the signs to Torfaen.

Rail Directions:

The nearest train station to Torfaen is Cwmbran, which is served by regular trains from Newport and Cardiff. Once you arrive at Cwmbran station, you can catch a taxi or a bus to Torfaen.

Tourist Attractions:

If you are driving to Torfaen, it is worth stopping off at Caerleon Roman Fortress and Baths on the way. If you are traveling by train, you could visit the Newport Museum and Art Gallery before heading to Torfaen.

The closest airport to Torfaen is Bristol Airport, which is approximately 35 miles away. The most convenient route is to take the M4 motorway eastbound and then follow the signs towards the airport. Alternatively, you could take a train from Newport to Bristol Temple Meads station and then catch a bus or taxi to the airport.
