To get to Telford by car, the M54 motorway is the most direct route. If coming from Birmingham, take the M6 northbound and exit onto the M54 at junction 10A. If coming from Manchester, take the M6 southbound and exit onto the M54 at junction 3. Telford also has several park and ride facilities for those who prefer not to drive into the town centre.
If travelling by train, Telford Central station is the main railway station in the town. There are direct services from Birmingham New Street, Wolverhampton, Stafford and Shrewsbury. From London, take a train to Birmingham New Street and change onto a direct service to Telford Central.
For those travelling from nearby landmarks, the Ironbridge Gorge is just a short drive away and can be reached by taking the A4169. Shrewsbury is also close by and can be reached via the A5. Wolverhampton is around 20 miles away and can be reached via the M54 motorway.
