To get to Sullom Voe by car, follow the A970 road north from Lerwick for approximately 25 miles. Alternatively, take the A971 road north from Brae for about 7 miles, and then turn right onto the A970 to continue for around 3 miles.
If traveling by rail, the nearest train station is in Lerwick, which has connections to Aberdeen via the ScotRail service. From Lerwick, take bus route 6A towards Sullom Voe Terminal, which runs several times per day.

The closest airport to Sullom Voe is Sumburgh Airport, which is about 50 miles away. To get to Sullom Voe from Sumburgh Airport, you can take the A970 road north until you reach the turnoff for the B9076 towards Brae. From there, follow signs for Sullom Voe. It should take about an hour to drive.
