To get to South Yorkshire, there are various driving and rail directions. If you are coming from Manchester, take the M67, then join the M60 and continue onto the M62. Exit at Junction 32 onto the M18, and continue to Exit 1 for Doncaster.
If you are coming from Leeds, take the M1 South and exit at Junction 37 for Barnsley. Or you can take the A61 towards Sheffield and exit onto the M1 South at Junction 35.
Alternatively, you can take the train to South Yorkshire from various cities. From London, take the East Midlands Railway from St. Pancras Station to Sheffield. If you are coming from Manchester, take the TransPennine Express from Manchester Piccadilly to Doncaster.
If you are exploring other landmarks in the region, such as the Peak District National Park, you can take the train to either Sheffield or Barnsley and drive from there. Or, if you prefer driving, take the A628 or A57 from the Peak District towards Sheffield.
The closest airport to South Yorkshire is Doncaster Sheffield Airport, located approximately 18 miles away. The suggested route would be to take the M18 motorway towards Doncaster and follow the signs to the airport. It should take around 30-40 minutes to drive there, depending on traffic.
