Visiting Shepway

To get to Shepway, there are a few different options depending on your starting location.

From Folkestone:

Take the A259 and follow the signs to Shepway. The drive takes around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.

Alternatively, you can take the train from Folkestone Central or Folkestone West to Sandling station. From there, it's a short taxi ride or a 20-25 minute walk to Shepway.

From Ashford:

Take the M20 towards Folkestone and exit at junction 11. Follow the signs to Shepway. The drive takes around 25-30 minutes depending on traffic.

You can also take the train from Ashford International to Sandling station, then either take a taxi or walk to Shepway.

From Canterbury:

Take the A2 towards Dover, then take the exit for the A260 towards Folkestone. Follow the signs to Shepway. The drive takes around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

There is also a direct train from Canterbury West to Sandling station, then a taxi or walk to Shepway.

If you are coming from further afield, the nearest airports are London Gatwick and London City. From there, you can take a train or rent a car to get to Shepway.

The closest airport to Shepway is London Southend Airport, which is approximately 35 miles away.

If you're driving from London Southend Airport to Shepway, take the A13 and follow signs for the M25. Join the M25 and continue until junction 5. Then, take the M26 and follow signs for Maidstone. Exit the M26 at junction 8 and then follow the A20 towards Ashford. From here, follow signs for Shepway.
