To drive to Malton from York:
- Head east on A64 towards Scarborough
- Take the A1237 exit towards York North/Thirsk/A19
- At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A1237
- At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Malton Road/A1036
- Continue to follow A1036, then turn right onto Foss Islands Rd/A1036
- Continue onto Melrosegate/A166
- Turn left onto Murton Way/A166
- Keep right to stay on Murton Way/A166, then continue straight onto Stamford Bridge Rd/A166
- At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Castle Howard Rd/B1248
- Continue onto Old Maltongate, then turn right onto Saville St
- Turn left onto Yorkersgate
- Turn right onto St Michael St
- Turn left onto Market St
- Turn right onto Newbiggin, and Malton will be on your left
To get to Malton by train:
- From York station, take a Northern or TransPennine Express train towards Scarborough or Hull
- Get off at Malton station, and the town centre is just a short walk away
