To get to Ludlow, you can take the A49 or A4117 by car.
If you are coming from Birmingham, take the M5 and exit onto the A456. Follow the A456 until it joins the A4117, which will take you directly into Ludlow.
If you prefer to take the train, Ludlow has its own station that is serviced by the Heart of Wales Line. From Shrewsbury, the journey takes approximately 45 minutes, and from Hereford, it takes approximately 35 minutes.
If you are already in Shropshire, Ludlow is conveniently located near other local landmarks such as the Iron Bridge Gorge and the Shropshire Hills. You can take the A49 from Bridgnorth to Ludlow for a scenic drive through the hills, or take the A4117 from Leominster for a shorter journey.
