Visiting Halifax

To get to Halifax by car, take the M62 and exit at junction 24. Follow signs for Halifax. From Leeds, take the A58 or the A647. From Manchester, follow the M62 and exit at junction 24.

By train, there are regular services to Halifax train station from Leeds, Manchester, and Bradford. From London, take the train to Leeds or Manchester and change for a direct service to Halifax.

If you're coming from nearby landmarks, you can take the bus from Huddersfield or Bradford. Alternatively, you can cycle along the Calder Valley Greenway, a scenic bike path that runs from Sowerby Bridge to Halifax.

The closest airport to Halifax is Leeds Bradford Airport, which is approximately 16 miles away. The quickest route to get there would be to take the M62 and then the A658. Alternatively, you could take public transportation via the express bus, which takes around 45 minutes.
