To get to Forres from Inverness, take the A96 road east for about half an hour. From Aberdeen, take the A96 west for around two hours. The nearest railway station is in Forres itself, with regular services to Inverness and Aberdeen. For those travelling from further afield, Inverness airport is about 30 miles away.
If you're travelling from the nearby town of Elgin, take the A941 road north for around 10 miles. From the seaside town of Lossiemouth, take the B9013 road south for around 8 miles.
Overall, driving is the most convenient way to get to Forres and the surrounding area, but the train can be a good option for those coming from Inverness or Aberdeen. If you're travelling from further away, flying to Inverness and hiring a car is a good idea.
