To get to Dromore by car, take the A1 south from Belfast or north from Dublin and exit at the Dromore junction. From Banbridge, take the A26 towards Lisburn and turn onto the B2 towards Dromore. From Craigavon, take the M1 towards Belfast and exit onto the A1 southbound, then take the Dromore junction.
If traveling by rail, Dromore has its own train station with direct trains to Lisburn and Portadown. From Belfast, take the train to Lisburn and change for a Dromore-bound train. From Dublin, take the train to Portadown and change for a Dromore-bound train.
If starting from other local landmarks, the Slieve Croob mountain range is located just west of Dromore and can be reached by taking the B7 towards Castlewellan. From the city of Armagh, take the A3 towards Newry and then the A1 towards Dromore. From the town of Portadown, take the A27 towards Banbridge and then the B2 towards Dromore.
The closest airport to Dromore is Belfast International Airport which is approximately 19 miles away. The suggested route from the airport is to take the M2 towards Belfast and then follow the signs for the A1 southbound towards Newry. Take the exit for Dromore and follow the signs into town.
