To get to Crowland by car, take the A16 from either Spalding or Peterborough and follow the signs. If you're coming from Boston, take the A17 towards Holbeach and then join the A16. From Stamford, take the A15 to Market Deeping and then join the A16.
If you're travelling by train, the nearest station is Spalding, which is on the Peterborough to Lincoln line. From Spalding, you can take the number 37 bus to Crowland, which runs every hour and takes around 20 minutes. Alternatively, a taxi from Spalding station will take around 15 minutes.
If you're travelling from further afield, the nearest airports are East Midlands and Birmingham, both of which have good transport links to the area. From the airport, you can either hire a car or take public transport.
If you're already in Lincolnshire, why not take a scenic drive through the nearby Fens or visit the historic city of Lincoln? Both are within a 30-40 minute drive of Crowland and well worth a visit.
The closest airport to Crowland is East Midlands Airport, located approximately 60 miles to the south-west of the town. If you are planning to travel to Crowland from the airport, I would suggest taking the A52 and then changing to the A16 for the remaining part of the journey. This is the quickest and most direct route, and should take around an hour and a half to complete depending on traffic conditions.
