Driving directions to Berkhamsted:
- If coming from London or the south, take the M25 towards Watford and then A41 towards Hemel Hempstead. Exit towards Berkhamsted on the A416 and continue for 2 miles.
- If coming from the north or west, take the M1 and exit at junction 8 towards Hemel Hempstead. Follow the A414 and then A4251 towards Berkhamsted.
Rail directions to Berkhamsted:
- Berkhamsted is on the London Euston to Birmingham New Street line. Trains run approximately every 30 minutes from London Euston and take around 30 minutes.
- Alternatively, there is a direct service from Milton Keynes Central which takes around 25 minutes.
If you are already in Hertfordshire, some suggested landmarks or towns to start from are:
- Hemel Hempstead: Berkhamsted is just a few miles east of Hemel Hempstead. Follow the A4251 for around 4 miles.
- St Albans: Take the A5183 towards Hemel Hempstead and then follow the A4251 towards Berkhamsted.
- Watford: Take the A41 towards Hemel Hempstead and then exit towards Berkhamsted on the A416.
