- Take a walk on Swanage Beach: This sandy beach is perfect for a leisurely stroll. Take in the sea views and maybe stop at one of the cafes for a drink or snack.
- Explore the Jurassic Coast: This stretch of coastline is a UNESCO World Heritage site and boasts stunning views and interesting geological features. Take a walk along the coast path to fully appreciate the beauty of the area.
- Visit the Tank Museum: If you're interested in military history, this museum is a must-visit. It has an extensive collection of tanks and other armoured vehicles, with exhibits dating from WWI to the present day.
- Take a ride on the Swanage Railway: This heritage railway line runs from Swanage to Norden, passing through picturesque countryside along the way. A round trip takes around 1.5 hours.
Of course, you may not have time to do everything on this list, so it's worth deciding in advance what your priorities are. Corfe Castle is probably the most time-consuming activity, but also the most rewarding.
