4. Stroll around the town center where you can enjoy various shops and galleries which include the Percy House Gallery, Cockermouth Art & Crafts and The Alhambra Cinema. You can spend about an hour exploring this area.
5. If you want to experience the area's natural beauty, visit Jennings Rivers Ride, Dodd Wood, or Whinlatter Forest Park. These places offer lots of beautiful walking trails, cycling paths and stunning views. It can take anywhere from 2-3 hours depending on your pace of exploring.
