If you have 6 hours or a half day to spend in Bassetlaw, there are plenty of things to keep you entertained!

For a more unusual experience, why not visit Idle Valley Nature Reserve? This 450-hectare wetland site is a haven for birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts, and offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of town life. You could easily spend a whole afternoon here.
Finally, round out your day with a bite to eat at one of the many local pubs or cafes – The Grey Horses Inn and The Elm Tree Inn are both highly recommended.
