If you have 2-3 hours to spend in St. Andrews, here are some suggestions:
- Visit St. Andrews Cathedral ruins - it will take about 30 minutes to explore and costs £6.00 for adults
- Take a stroll on West Sands Beach - it's a beautiful beach, which will take about 30-45 minutes to walk there and back
- Explore St. Andrews Botanic Garden - it will take about 45 minutes to an hour to walk along the different paths and the admission is free
- Visit St. Andrews University - you can walk around the stunning buildings and see where Prince William and Kate Middleton studied. This will take around 30 minutes
- Play mini-golf at St. Andrews Ladies Putting Club - they celebrated their 150th anniversary in 2017 and entry is £2.00 for adults. This will take about 30-45 minutes.
With any remaining time, wander around town and explore the quaint streets and local shops.
