If you have a couple of hours to spend in Portsmouth, here are a few suggestions of things to do:
- Portsmouth Historic Dockyard: Home to the HMS Victory and the Mary Rose Museum, the dockyard is a must-visit for maritime history enthusiasts. Allow at least two hours to see everything.
- Spinnaker Tower: The 170-metre-tall tower offers stunning views of the city and the sea. You can visit the observation decks in 30-45 minutes.
- Southsea Beach: Take a stroll along the promenade or relax on the beach. If the weather is good, this is a lovely spot to spend some time.
- Guildhall Walk: A popular area for bars and restaurants, Guildhall Walk is a great place to grab a drink and soak up the atmosphere. You can spend as little or as long as you like here.
