If you have 2-3 hours to spend in Fort William, here are some suggestions:
- Take a stroll along the Caledonian Canal and enjoy the views of Ben Nevis - 1-2 hours
- Visit the West Highland Museum to learn about the history of the area - 1 hour
- Ride the Jacobite Steam Train (aka the Hogwarts Express) to Glenfinnan Viaduct and back - 2.5 hours
- Hike up to the Old Fort viewpoint for panoramic views of the town and surrounding mountains - 1-2 hours
- Indulge in some retail therapy on the High Street - 1-2 hours
