3 Hours In East Grinstead

If you have 2-3 hours to spend in East Grinstead, there are a few things you could do:

• Visit the Sackville College - a historic almshouse and chapel. It is open from 2-5pm on Wednesdays and costs £2 to enter.
• Explore the High Street - there are many independent shops and cafes to browse through. You could also stop for a coffee or snack at one of the local eateries.
• Take a walk in the Standsen countryside - just a short distance from the town centre, you can enjoy the beautiful countryside on foot. It will take around an hour to complete the loop.
• Visit East Court Mansion - this impressive building is surrounded by gardens and has a small museum inside. Admission is free and it will take around an hour to explore.

With only 2-3 hours, it's best to choose one or two things to do and really enjoy them, rather than rush around trying to see everything.
