If you have 2-3 hours to spend in Armagh, here are some suggestions:
- Visit the Armagh Observatory and Planetarium - This should take around 1-1.5 hours depending on your level of interest in astronomy.
- Stroll through Navan Fort - This ancient site will take around 45 minutes to an hour to explore.
- Explore the historic buildings of Armagh, such as the St. Patrick's Cathedral and the Armagh Robinson Library - This could easily take up your entire 2-3 hour timeframe, with each site requiring around 45 minutes or more to fully appreciate.
- Walk the Armagh City Walking Trail - This will give you a great overview of the city's history and only takes about an hour.
If you're in Banbridge, check out the Banbridge District Museum, which should take around an hour to explore.
If you find yourself in Craigavon, a visit to the Oxford Island Nature Reserve is a must. This nature preserve has walking trails, birdwatching opportunities, and stunning views. It should take around 1-2 hours to explore, depending on how long you spend on the trails.
