If you have 2-3 hours to spend in Amber Valley, there are a few things you can do:

• Visit Heage Windmill: This historic windmill is a great place to learn about the local history and enjoy some stunning views. Plan to spend around 1 hour here.
• Explore Shipley Country Park: This beautiful park covers over 700 acres and has plenty of walking trails, picnic areas, and other attractions. Depending on how much time you have, you could easily spend 1-2 hours here.
• Discover the Derwent Valley Mills: This UNESCO World Heritage site includes several historic mills and other buildings that tell the story of the Industrial Revolution. Plan to spend at least 1 hour here if you want to explore the site thoroughly.
• Check out the local shops: Amber Valley has plenty of independent boutiques and specialty stores, as well as larger chains. You could easily spend 2-3 hours browsing the shops and picking up souvenirs.
