- Visit Crosby Beach and see the Antony Gormley sculptures: The beach is around 4 miles from Sefton, and you can easily spend a few hours admiring the 100 iron men statues.
- Explore the historic village of Aintree: Visit the quaint village and have a drink in one of the local pubs. You might also recognize the name from the famous horse racing course.
- Take a walk in the Botanic Gardens: Located in Churchtown, the Botanic Gardens are beautiful and peaceful place to spend time. You can visit the aviary and tropical greenhouse for a small fee.
- Explore the National Trust property Formby Point:Formby Point has beautiful sand dunes and expansive beaches, perfect for a walk and spotting local wildlife.
