Marlborough is a small market town with a population of just over 8,000 people. However, there are lots of interesting things to see and do if you have 2 days to spend in town. Here are some suggestions:
Marlborough College is a famous public school located in the town. The campus is beautiful and worth spending a few hours exploring. You can visit the Memorial Hall, Chapel and the grounds which include a beautiful lake and open gardens.

Marlborough's High Street is one of the widest in the country and is lined with historic buildings and independent shops. Spend some time exploring the boutiques, antique shops and bookshops.

Avebury Stone Circle is just a 10-minute drive from Marlborough. The circle is one of the largest and best-preserved Neolithic henge monuments in Europe and is definitely worth a visit.

The Marlborough Downs offers some stunning walks with fantastic views. You can walk to West Woods or the Fyfield Downs Nature Reserve which is famous for its wildflowers and butterflies.

The Merchant's House is a beautifully restored 17th-century home with a fascinating history. Guided tours can be arranged on the day, and it's definitely worth the visit.

Coopers Meadow is a lovely public park located in the town centre. It's a great place to have a picnic or go for a stroll and enjoy the scenery.
