If you have two days to spend in Elmbridge, here are some suggestions:
- Visit Hampton Court Palace - this stunning Tudor palace is a must-see, with its beautiful gardens and fascinating history. Allow at least 2-3 hours for the visit.
- Take a stroll along the Thames Path - enjoy the beautiful views of the river Thames and the surrounding countryside. You can walk for as long as you like, but we suggest setting aside at least a couple of hours.
- Explore the Elmbridge Museum - this small but interesting museum tells the story of the local area and its people. You can probably see everything in around an hour or so.
- Enjoy some shopping and dining in Weybridge - this affluent town has a great selection of shops, restaurants, and cafes. Spend a few hours wandering around and trying out some of the local cuisine.
If you're looking for somewhere to stay while you're in Elmbridge, there are plenty of options. The Brooklands Hotel in Weybridge is a luxurious choice, with a spa, restaurant, and views over the nearby racing track. The Thyme at the Tavern in East Molesey is a cozy, homely option, with comfortable rooms and a great pub downstairs. If you're on a budget, there are plenty of chain hotels and B&Bs in the area, such as Travelodge or Premier Inn.
