If you have 7 days to spend in Wirral, here are some suggestions for things to do:
Day 1: Visit the historic Birkenhead Park, which was the inspiration for Central Park in New York City. It's a huge park with lakes, gardens, and plenty of walking paths. You could easily spend a whole day here!
Day 2: Take a trip to Port Sunlight, a model village built in the late 19th century for workers at the nearby Lever Brothers soap factory. You can take a guided tour of the village and museum, and learn all about its fascinating history.
Day 3: Explore the Wirral Peninsula's coastline, which has plenty of beautiful beaches and seaside towns to visit. Check out West Kirby, Hoylake, and New Brighton for some great seaside fun.
Day 4: Visit the Williamson Art Gallery & Museum in Birkenhead, which has a great collection of local art and heritage. You can easily spend a few hours exploring the galleries and gardens here.
Day 5: Take a trip to Ness Botanic Gardens in Neston, which has over 64 acres of beautiful gardens to explore. You can easily spend a whole day here, especially if the weather is nice.
Day 6: Relax and enjoy some retail therapy at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, which has over 145 stores selling designer brands at discounted prices. You could easily spend a few hours (and some money!) here.
Day 7: End your trip by exploring some of Wirral's historic landmarks, such as the ruins of Birkenhead Priory or the medieval walls in Wallasey. Alternatively, take a leisurely stroll along the scenic Wirral Way walking route, which stretches for 12.4 miles and passes through some beautiful countryside scenery.
As for places to stay, there are plenty of B&Bs and hotels in the area to choose from, depending on your budget and preferences. Some popular options include Leasowe Castle Hotel, The Ship Hotel, and Hillbark Hotel & Spa.
