If you have 7 days to spend in Swansea, there are plenty of things to see and do. Here are some suggestions:
- Visit the Gower Peninsula: This famous area is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the UK, including Rhossili and Three Cliffs Bay. It's worth spending a full day here.
- Explore Swansea Bay: Take a walk along the promenade, stopping off at attractions such as the National Waterfront Museum and Swansea Marina. This could take a day or two.
- Discover the city centre: Swansea has a vibrant centre with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. Visit attractions such as Swansea Castle and the Dylan Thomas Centre. Allow 1-2 days for this.
- Go hiking in the Brecon Beacons: The national park is just a short drive from Swansea and offers stunning views and walks of varying lengths. A full day is necessary for this.
- Visit Mumbles: This pretty seaside town has a pier, lighthouse and plenty of shops and cafes. It's worth spending a half day here.
