  • Explore the beautiful countryside on a walk or bike ride. Sudbury is located in the heart of Constable Country, so you can follow the trails of the famous artist John Constable. This can take anywhere from a few hours to a full day depending on how much you want to see.
  • Take a tour of the historic town center. This includes the Market Hill, St Peter's Church, and ancient buildings such as the Old Grammar School and the Constable's Museum. You can do this in a half day.
  • Visit Long Melford - another picturesque village with a rich history, known for its impressive church, antique shops, and wool industry. It takes around 30 minutes to get there from Sudbury and you could spend a half day or full day here.
  • Go to the Sudbury Silk Museum - to learn about the town's once-thriving silk-making industry and see some stunning examples of silk fabric. This will take 1-2 hours to explore.
