If you have 7 days to spend in Sandringham, here are some suggestions:
- Visit Sandringham House and Gardens: Allow at least 3-4 hours to explore the house and gardens.
- Explore the surrounding countryside: Norfolk is known for its beautiful countryside, so take a day to wander around the area. You can do this on foot or by bike.
- Visit the beaches: The nearest beach is in Hunstanton, which is a 15-minute drive away. There are plenty of other beaches in the area too, so take a day or two to relax by the sea.
- Explore the local villages: There are many pretty villages in the area, such as Burnham Market and Brancaster. Spend a day or two exploring these places.
- Go bird watching: The Norfolk coast is a great place for bird watching, so head to the RSPB Reserve at Titchwell Marsh.
- Visit Norwich: Norwich is the closest city and is just a 45-minute drive away. Spend a day exploring the city, visiting the cathedral and castle.
As for places to stay, there are plenty of options in the area. If you want to stay in Sandringham itself, there is The Sandringham Estate Caravan and Camping Park. If you prefer something a bit more luxurious, there is The Hoste in Burnham Market. Alternatively, there are plenty of B&Bs and guesthouses in the nearby villages.
