If you have a week to spend in Lichfield, there are plenty of things to do and see. Firstly, you could visit Lichfield Cathedral which is a stunning medieval cathedral with much history behind it. You could spend a few hours here exploring the grounds and looking at the architecture. Another must-see place is Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum, which takes you through the life and times of the famous lexicographer Samuel Johnson. It is a small museum but is very informative and enjoyable. Also, a good day trip would be to Drayton Manor Theme Park which has attractions for all ages and is around 15 minutes away from the town.
