- Visit the magnificent Exeter Cathedral, which has been standing for almost a thousand years. Allow 1-2 hours for your visit.
- Take a leisurely stroll through the Royal Albert Memorial Museum, where you can see a wide range of exhibits, including natural history, world cultures, and art. Plan to spend 2-3 hours here.
- Explore the Underground Passages, a series of medieval tunnels beneath the city. Tours usually take about an hour.
- Go for a hike in one of the nearby nature reserves, such as Haldon Forest Park or Dartmoor National Park. Depending on the length of your hike, plan to spend 2-5 hours.
- Take a day trip to one of the nearby coastal towns, such as Sidmouth or Exmouth. Spend the afternoon walking along the beach and exploring the town.
