What Should I Do For One Week In Cambridge?

If you have 7 days to spend in Cambridge, here are some suggestions:

Day 1:

Visit the famous University of Cambridge and King's College Chapel. This will take around half a day. In the afternoon, you can go punting on the River Cam.

Day 2:

Explore the city center and its historic buildings, such as the Round Church, the Fitzwilliam Museum, and the Bridge of Sighs. You can also go shopping in the many independent shops and boutiques.

Day 3:

Visit the Botanic Garden and enjoy a picnic on the lovely grounds. Spend the afternoon exploring Cambridge's lovely gardens and green spaces.

Take a day trip to Ely, a charming town 20 miles north of Cambridge. Visit Ely Cathedral and explore the lovely streets and riverside.

Day 5:

Explore the stunning countryside surrounding Cambridge. You can go for a hike in the Gog Magog Hills or Meldreth Manor Park.

Day 6:

Take a guided tour of the American War Cemetery and Memorial. This is an important historical site and a moving experience.

Day 7:

Visit Grantchester, a lovely village near Cambridge, famous for its orchards, tea rooms, and lovely scenery. You can also go for a walk along the River Cam and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
